Iron Candlestick from the Geddy House

Iron Candlestick

The archaeological evidence suggests that the Geddy family was capable of making a wide variety of useful and decorative objects from iron or brass. This now-footless iron candlestick with its brass reinforcing band was found in the east room of the brass founders' workshop in debris deposited in or shortly after 1750, when the room ceased to serve that purpose.
