Wedgwood Medallion Contributor: Hull Museums
						
						
						The Wedgwood Medallion reads, “Am I not a Man and a Brother?” around the circumference. This medallion was produced by Josiah Wedgwood in 1787 to promote the anti-slave trade movement and brought the abolitionist cause into the public’s consciousness.
